In the Bay of Cadiz we encounter the Natural Park and the Swamps of the Bay of Cadiz, very special places, however from these we have to point out two further sites on the outskirts of the municipality which are worth to be visited by lovers of nature.

Let's start with the pine forests and dunes of San Anton,100 hectares of land under protection since 1996 with areas for recreation, areas for camping and the nearby beach. On the beach we will encounter Pinos Piñoneros and an excellent system of forestal dunes.

From here we go to the Swamp complex of Puerto de Santa María, a natural reserve of 300 hectares with lagoons and swamps and an abundance of marine birds, migrates as well as autoctones.
