One of El Puerto’s main tourist attractions is the beach. It’s fantastic. It stretches for miles all along the town’s coastline. The sand is fine and golden, the fresh crystal clear waters reflect off the intense blue skies. It’s incredibly bright on the beach and the colours are amazing; they sometimes resembles what you’d see in the Pacific Ocean.
Rows of restaurants, bars cafes and chiringuitos (beach bars) line the beach. You can sit out on the terraces, bathe in the sun, and just watch the world go by. It’s a cool place to just chill out and relax.
On the other hand, it’s also a great place to have fun, and meet people. After sunset, all the action starts. There’s millions of things to do here.
On the Valdelagrana part of the beach there is a huge resort where you can find everything from flamenco to fast food. There’s bowling alleys, skating rinks, pubs, restaurants, taverns, and discos too. |
