Of the world of politics we highlight Diego de los Reyes Balmaceda for his influence as a goveneur of Paraguay or Juan Antonio De Vizarrón, Virrey de Nueva España. However, it is the world of literature which was born in this town and conquered the world. Starting with Rafael Alberti, poet of the generation 27, one of the most distinguised representatives of Spanish literature. We also like to emphasise Cecilia Bohl de Faber, also known as Fernan Caballero or the playwright Muñoz Seca and Pedro Pérez Fernández.
