If there is any tradition in Puerto de Santa María, then it is the one of its wines. For this it is interesting to the visitor to have a look at the places where wine is being "created" and we advise to take a stroll for the bodegas in the area.

The major part of the wine cellars were created at the beginning of the industrial period, in the 19th Century. Decade over decade, delicious wine is being produced in its barrels. The buildings are rectangular and spacious and in its interior the aroma of the cellars product is pertaining within.
