Visit Natural Parks in Puerto de Santa Maria, Cadiz Spain
The municipality counts two protected natural areas. One is the Parque Natural de la bahía de Cádiz and the other is Complejo Endorreico de El Puerto de Santa María.
In both parks it is difficult to hike because of its swampy terrain. However, it is possible to see flamingos and other migrating birds, which come here every year to take a rest from their long voyage. The marsh complex (Complejo Endorreico) composes of three lagoons, one, which is the largest of salty water.
Further, speaking of Natural Parks, we have to point out the Parque Natural de la Bahía de Cádiz, where you can encounter swamps, cliff lines, dense forests and emigrating birds.
